Quick Status Update

Hey Everyone,

It’s Randy. I just wanted to give a quick status Update.

We thought the Decks would be arriving at Gambler’s Warehouse last week (Texas), but we recently received news that they have yet to arrive. We shot Expert an e-mail on Friday, and they found out that the unloading from the boat was delayed a few days.

The pallet was devanned on Friday (at the LA port), and will hopefully arrive at Gambler’s Warehouse later this week.

Gambler’s has everything they need for Fulfillment, so it should start quickly after the POLLOCK Decks arrive.

This update will be short and sweet. We received some sample decks as we wait for the shipment to get to the US. We absolutely love how they turned out and wanted to show you. 

POLLOCK Decks PRINTED! On the way to the U.S.

Hey Everyone,

We received some excellent news from Expert today. The POLLOCK Decks are printed!!!!

The finished Decks are scheduled to leave Taiwan, via slow boat, on Wednesday. They will be at Gambler’s Warehouse in early March, and fulfillment will begin very quickly after that.

We will be locking down the BackerKit surveys this Thursday afternoon. This allows plenty of time for Mike and I to prep the Excel files for Gambler’s fulfillment. If you need to change your address or add any extra Add-Ons, please go to our project’s BackerKit before Thursday (link below).

Expert is sending us a couple finished Decks.

We’ll post some photos of the final product, as soon as we can.

POLLOCK Physical Proofs APPROVED!!

Hey Everyone,

The POLLOCK Physical Proofs arrive on Friday. Mike and I carefully checked them all over, and officially APPROVED them last night. They turned out beautifully!!

Expert already sent a confirmation e-mail this morning. They’ll get us scheduled for printing in the next available slot.

Below are a bunch of photos I took from my phone. The UV Spot Ink is a perfect feature on the Tucks and Brick Box!

Physical Proofs almost here!

Hey Everyone,

It's Randy. I haven't posted in a while, somI thought I should post, to say hi and give an update on how everything's going behind-the-scenes with the POLLOCK Decks.

Mike and I finished and sent out the BackerKit surveys a couple days ago. It looks like over two thirds of Backers have already filled theirs out. So that's great news! The BackerKits will stay open until the finished Decks leave from Taiwan (hopefully some time in late January / early February). Locking the BackerKits when they leave for the U.S. gives Mike and I ample time to prep the Excel files for Gambler's Warehouse.

Expert gave us some great news that the Physical Proofs should arrive at their New York office this week! With any luck, we'll receive them in Indy by the end of this week or early next week. If everything is good to go, we would Approve them for printing, Expert would then get us on the print schedule in the next opening (usually 4-5 weeks from approval date), and then the finished Decks would leave on the month-long slow boat to the U.S. shortly after printing.

Here's a general outline of timing estimates:

Late December - receive Physical Proofs, Approve (if all is correct), and get on the print schedule

Late January / Early February - Decks printed and leave on the boat from Taiwan to the U.S., BackerKits closed and Credit Cards charged for any new Add-Ons

Early March / Mid March - Decks arrive at Gambler's Warehouse in Texas, and Fulfillment begins (fulfillment usually takes them a week overall)

We'll keep you updated on any deviations from the timing ETA, but it looks like the March Shipping ETA is in good shape!

We'll also post some photos of the Physical Proofs when they arrive. We're looking forward to how they look!!

I also realized we never posted images of the Digital Proofs that we Approved in late November. I'm posting those below.
